How Does Reiki Work?

We are alive as a result of the life force coursing through us. Within the physical body, life force flows through chakras, meridians, and nadis. Additionally, it flows around us in an energy field known as the aura. The life force nourishes the body's organs and cells, assisting them in performing their vital functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, one or more of the physical body's organs and tissues suffer diminished function.

Thoughts and emotions have an effect on the life force. It is disrupted when we accept negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves, whether consciously or unconsciously. These negative thoughts and feelings become entangled in the energy field, interfering with the flow of life force. This impairs the vital functions of the physical body's organs and cells.

But how does Reiki work? Reiki heals by channeling positive energy through the affected areas of the energy field. It raises the vibratory frequency of the energy field within and around the physical body, which is associated with negative thoughts and feelings. This causes the negative energy to disintegrate and disperse. Reiki does this by clearing, straightening, and healing the energy pathways, allowing the life force to flow freely and naturally.

Are All Healers Use Reiki?

While all healers utilize life force, or Ki, not all utilize Reiki. Reiki is a unique form of life force that can only be channeled through an attuned individual. It is possible that some individuals are born with Reiki or acquire it through other means. However, the majority of healers who have not been attuned to Reiki by a Reiki Master are not using Reiki but another type of life force. Individuals who already practice healing consistently report an increase in the strength of their healing energies of at least 50% following the Reiki training.

When you first began teaching Reiki, this was confirmed to you. If you knew two highly developed clairvoyant healers. They could easily discern the flow of life energy through a person's body as well as the aura and chakras. Additionally, they could communicate with the individual's guides and higher self. They were skilled at both expelling negative psychic energy from the body and channeling healing energies. They were the most accurate and effective psychic healers you had encountered in your years of metaphysical work.

They later told that they doubted there was anything that was teaching them that they couldn't already do, but they took the Reiki training anyway to assist in your new work. They were astounded by the difference they could feel between the healing energies they had been using and Reiki following the attunement. They asserted that Reiki energies were more potent and had a significantly higher frequency. Additionally, they noted that Reiki did not require guidance, as did the other healing energies they were using, and that Reiki energies began flowing without requiring the practitioner to enter an altered state. Additionally, they indicated that the attunement process itself was a profoundly healing experience, releasing restrictions on their healing work that they had unknowingly acquired during previous lives as healers. They were ecstatic to have taken the class.

What Are The Side Effects Of Reiki?

Reiki is never harmful.

Reiki can never cause harm because it is guided by God consciousness. It is always aware of what a person requires and will adjust itself to produce the desired effect. One never has to decide whether or not to give Reiki. It is constantly beneficial.

Additionally, because the practitioner does not direct the healing and makes no decisions about what to work on or what to heal, the practitioner is not at risk of absorbing the client's karma. Because the practitioner is not performing the healing, it is also much easier for the ego to remain in the background and allow God's presence to shine through clearly.

How Long Does Reiki Last?

Reiki sessions last between 30 and 90 minutes.

The Bottom Line

Reiki practitioners' energies are never depleted because it is a channeled healing. Indeed, the Reiki consciousness views both the practitioner and the client as in need of healing, and thus both are treated. As a result, administering a treatment always boosts one's energy and surrounds one with loving feelings of well-being.
